Wanted: Lancaster Suite Malcolm Archer


Hi organists!
I cant find sheetmusic (on paper or digital) of the Lancaster Suite of Malcolm Archer.
Is anybody familiar with it?

Yes, I did. He kindly forwarded my mail to Collin Parsons.
I hope he can help. The Lancaster Suite was written especially to support the AHORP-project. So, not for sale in any shop.

Hello Jaap,

Colin Parsons is the chairman of AHORP, he sells the score *within* the UK. You can buy the score from the site, unfortunately the email provided (for online purchase or non UK buyers) is not working anymore. I mailed Prof Carsons as well. A real MBE! :-))

What a coincidence you were looking as well. Hope we get lucky. ;-)

Hi Jaap,

no reply so far. But don't worry, he is not some person from the administration who has nothing to do with the sales, he *is* responsible for sales, although within the UK, so I am sure we will hear from him. ;-)

Has anyone the music? I will make a donation to Ahorp, when somebody can deliver the score of the Lancaster Suite.

I have never received an answer either. So he answered you but in the end you never received the score?

Prof Parsons is a very busy man, I'm sure, nevertheless it's curious, because Malcolm Archer wrote this Suite for the very purpose of selling the score and thus raising funds for the restauration of the great organ, and now they won't sell? Maybe the restauration's already completed. :-)) At least the score's description is almost 8 years old.

I think I'll give it another try and let you know. :-)

if you are lucky, you can order 3 Lancaster suites and 3 Introduction and cornet rondo's for me. I wil replay and pay you very soon. ;-)
