Organ recitals in the UK

Here is a comprehensive list of organ recitals for the week starting Saturday 13th October.
http://www.organrecitals.com/1/bulletin.pdf

If you give recitals or you know someone who does and they want to be included in this list please read about the changes taking place in 2019.

CHANGES IN 2019
organrecitals.com deals with more than 4,000 concerts-per-year. In the past, listings have been compiled from concerts submitted by e-mail, plus concerts found on the websites of organists, churches, etc. Over the years, the balance has changed, meaning that fewer concerts are now submitted and more are sourced from websites.
Checking the thousands of websites belonging to organists, churches, cathedrals, concert halls, etc. is time-consuming and, sometimes, pointless – because quite a number are moribund or wildly out-of-date or inaccurate for other reasons. Likewise, e-mailing organists and concert organisers can be hit-and-miss, in terms of positive outcomes.
Therefore, from 2019, only submitted concerts will be listed. No websites will be checked. No concert organisers or organists will be chased-up. This policy may well result in the loss of a significant number of concerts – but even a 50% falloff will leave considerably more concerts listed than on any other similar website. It will be interesting to see at what level the site settles. A review of the outcome will take place near the end of 2019.
The bottom line: If you want concerts to appear on organrecitals.com, you will need to submit them. It's a quick and easy process and anyone, not only recitalists and concert organisers, can do so – see organrecitals.com/info
Approximately 100,000 pages on organrecitals.com are viewed every month – more than one million pages annually!

RE: Organ recitals in the UK

Bank Holiday weekend in the UK so there is a big batch of recitals on this excellent web site.
Organs can be heard in some out of the way places.
Go to one or some if you can or just open the page to look at venues and specifications.
It's all there.
