This multi-section symphonie is cylical in nature - one can easily hear the transformation of the theme from section to section. Although there are not formal "movements" as such, the piece really does fall into logical sections that, for all intents and purposes are movements. I recorded this years ago on my cobbled-together "Cavaille-Clone' (my attempt at making a serviceable C-C in the days before such a beast was readily available), Maybe someday I'll get it back under my fingers and re-record it on one of the newer sample sets. Enjoy! |
