Description:
This is a transcription of the first Aria from the cantata BWV 170. It is rather peaceful with a kind of pastoral feeling (12/8). The title of this aria is translated as "Delightful rest, beloved pleasure of the soul" by Wikipedia.
I discovered this piece completely by accident on a CD by Kei Koito and immediately felt the need to play it. But as there is no score for the organ (as far as know), I had to transcribe it as I could. If anyone knows an edited organ version, it would be a very good new !
