The organ is about to be released. It is a great representation of a medium-sized Robert Morton theater organ.
The song is obscure by an equally obscure set of songwriters. It tells the story of a village blacksmith who changes with the times and opens the town's only service station. The song bemoans that fact that he gets "two bits a pint" for gasoline ($2 per gallon.) As such, it is apropos again today!
My arrangements features the organ's "straight" sounds, several solo stops, the traps and bell, and the piano.
