four "Bach organs" |
Software: | Hauptwerk IV |
Genre: | Baroque |
Description: | After many years of organ playing, I had not yet played any of the Orgelbuchlein chorales (too bad !). So, I recently worked on four from my favourite ones, and thought it was the opportunity to try them on different « Bach organs » with different types of registrations,,
BWV 644 Ach wie flichtig
The text is : « How vain, how fleeting is man’s life ! Like a mist, it gathers and vanishes quickly again : such is our life », The two versions with a flute 4 solo try to paint mists or clouds which gather and vanish.
Arlesheim (Man : flute 4 ; Ped : 8’)
Zoeblitz at 0’43 (Man : rohrflote 4 ; Ped : 8’)
Zoeblitz at 1’25 (Man : quintaden ; Ped : 16-8’)
