Giuseppe (Joseph) Gherardeschi (Pistoia, November 3, 1759 - Pistoia, August 6, 1815) was an Italian composer and organist.

He began studying music with his father Domenico, choirmaster of the Cathedral of Pistoia, and with his uncle Filippo Maria. Then he perfected under the tutelage of Nicholas Hall in Naples at the Conservatorio della Pietà dei Turchini. Back in his hometown he was appointed organist of the Church of Santa Maria Humility and later, in 1800 he took the post of Director of the chapel of the cathedral of Pistoia, succeeding his father.

As regards the activity as a composer he wrote different music both vocal (sacred and secular) and instrumental (for solo instruments, chamber and orchestra).
