Composer: Anonymous (Germany)
Sample Producer: Lavender Audio
Sample Set: Hereford Cathedral Willis Organ
Software: Hauptwerk IV
Genre: Medieval and Renaissance
Description:
This piece comes from a manuscript of the sixteenth century which is located
in the Staatsbibliothek in Munich (Mus. ms. 2987).
This Medieval dance has a predominantly harmonic structure that already hints
at the chordally supported preludes of Kotter and Kleber and beyond that to
the homophonic style of the dances. Quant ien congneu a ma pense = “When I
consider it in my mind”.
