This Chorale is in the heptatonic Bhairav scale, which is an important raga scale in the Hindustani classical tradition.
I was inspired by John Nicholson's remark on my Toccata: "How do you expect us mortals to pay it?", which I misunderstood since he probably meant to say: "to play it".
This piece, however, should be easy playable by us "mortals". It is dedicated to Louise Landes-Levi.
May all mortals find perfect peace.
