Have You Forgotten (1931)
Music by Dana Suesse (1909 - 1987) sometimes referred to as "the girl Gershwin." An American composer and "tin pan alley" pianist. Best known for "You Ought to Be in Pictures," and "My Silent Love" which has been recorded by many theatre organists.
This tune, is based on one written in 1930 by Dana, but credit was also given to Nathaniel Shilkret, a noted composer/arranger/conductor of the 1930's, in an effort to kick start her career. "Syncopated Love Song."

The sheet music is available in a newly publish volume for piano: "Dana Suesse: Jazz Nocturne." Published by Dover and compiled and edited by Peter Mintun, the noted pianist and music historian. You can watch him play this on his grand piano, which was once owned by Dana:

The Paramount 341 gets to show off her "sophisticated side."
