Again a combination of (this time 3) choralvorspiele by (3) different German baroque composers and contemporaries: Zachau, Vetter and Walther.
These composers (amongst a lot of others) wrote these chorale preludes that I combined in 1 'take'.
- The first one is by Friedrich Wilhelm Zachau (1663-1712) and is a trio on the chorale. Played on Hoofdwerk and Bovenpositief.
- The second piece is a fugue on the first phrase by Andreas Nikolaus Vetter (1666-1734). Played on the Rugwerk.
- The third part is again a trio on the chorale by Johann Gottfried Walther (1684-1748). Played on Hoofdwerk and Bovenpositief.
I think these three pieces mix together pretty well into one big "Allein Gott in der Höh sei Ehr", played on the Zwolle Schnitger, with joyful plenum registrations.
