Description:
In a previous upload of this work user 162_Ranks asked, "Did you try a registration where you started without the chamades in the manual and added them in at a logical point later?"

In this version I am still using one of the chamades, the 8' Orlos, to start but it is the least dominant of those available ... and then in the repeat I switch to the 8' Trompeta brillante, which really adds some fireworks!

The big 32' Bazuin is never used because it just doesn't sound that good when playing fifths in the pedal. Instead you hear a pleasingly solid acoustic 64' pedal sound using the 32' Praestant in the pedal when playing those fifths.

I really like my AKG Q701 headphones, but they just don't reproduce the low bass notes very well. As it turns out the considerably less expensive Superlux HD661 and HD681 headsets reproduce it quite well.

This recording is much more at the prescribed tempo of a "vigorous" quarter note = 92! Actually I'm probably playing it a bit faster than prescribed since the score indicates it should take 2:45 and my recording is 8 seconds shorter.
