Now that I have the Hereford Cathedral Father Willis sample set, I thought it would be interesting to try doing one of my favorite pieces, the "Alleluia Toccata".
Enrico (sanden) did a version of this same piece on this same organ on May 1st:

This time I've taken a little different approach since the Hereford organ has that wonderful Tuba stop, I thought I'd give it a whirl, so it's being used to play the solo line at the beginning of the work. I'm using it an octave lower than written because otherwise it would be too overwhelming. I think this was a good compromise because it's still quite pronounced, but not too much so. I then switch to the Great for the balance of the score for the left hand. You'll hear it come in twice because of the repeat.
I never thought I would be able to play a piece as grand as this, but it's a lot easier than it sounds ... but still took quite a bit of effort on my part to learn it.

Enjoy!
