After listening to a work that Carson Cooman recently uploaded, I was reminded of the delightful Petite Suite of Gerald Bales, which I recorded many moons ago.
One of my first sample sets was the St. George’s Casavant, which was sampled by Ken Bales. After I had recorded some other works on the sample set, Ken Bales sent me a copy of his father’s Petite Suite. I thought that I had uploaded it to Contrebombarde, but hadn’t. It is recorded with reverb provided by a Lexicon MX200. The organ sounds much better recorded with convolution reverb, but regardless of the less than optimal presentation, I thought that the works deserve the exposure that Contrebombarde provides. I hope you enjoy them.
This was the contact information that I had for the music
http://www.berandolmusic.com, however, when I went on the site, I could not find the work. If you are interested you might contact them to find out the current status.
