Description:
I've "played at" this piece MANY time, but never "performed" it - at least not that I can recall.

When I was playing Terry Streeton's new piece, "Wanderings of a Balloon," I was struck by the incredible beauty, power, and intensity of the Harmonic Flute on the Solo, and this piece came to mind.

"Arabesque" comes from the 2nd book of 24 pieces, and was first published in 1913. It is just one of those special and magical works that defies definition or analysis.

This is a re-upload, as a thoughtful member and keen listener pointed out 2 mistakes in my first upload! THANK YOU thoughtful member and keen listener... ;-)

The score, which is in a new "type setting" by Pierre Gouin is attached. I mention the fact that his edition is a little different from the original as to manual changes, and to one corrected note. I used the original in making these recordings.
