Jaakko Linjama (1909–1983) — Hääjuhlan alkusoitto (Wedding Overture) (1972) for organ

Finnish composer Jaakko Linjama (1909–1983) worked as teacher and church musician in Muurame for his entire career. The best-known of his numerous compositions was the “Olympic Hymn” of 1952, written for the Helsinki Olympic Games and selected via an anonymous competition. His eldest son (Jouko) and grandson (Jyrki) are also important Finnish classical composers, and his great-grandson (Lenno) is an active electronic dance music DJ and composer.
