Description: | This is my 400th upload to the Concert Hall. Hurray!
The D-Dur Prelude & Fugue seemed like a good choice, as it was the piece (among others) I won my first organ contest with, when I was still an amateur long ago.
I won a few more and that motivated me to study the piano and organ professionally.
I had not played the piece much since that contest, just rattled through it sometimes, so it took quite an effort to dig it up again from the memory shelves, but here it is.
I think I played it faster then, as I thought at the time that speed was what this piece was all about.
It's rather long, so I upload the Prelude and fugue separately. |
