Description:
Christoph Weinhart was born in 1958. He studied piano with Edith Thauer, composition with Bertold Hummel, electronic music with Klaus Hashagen in Würzburg and organ with Gaston Litaize in Paris. Since 1983 he has been a lecturer at the Conservatory of Music in Würzburg and since 1998 also at the Bayerische Theaterakademie in Munich. He has given concerts internationally as a pianist and conductor. His compositions include several operas, orchestral works, chamber music and electronic music.
