Furtwängler & Hammer, No. 286 - A Masterpiece Saved!!!The grand organ in the Kaiserdom,&nb...

Uploaded by: gooseholla (12/28/16)
Composer: Bach, J. S.
Sample Producer: Sonus Paradisi
Sample Set: Caen - St. Etienne Cavaillé Coll
Software: Hauptwerk
Genre: Baroque
Description:
A bit late to the party - I recorded this a while ago to test my leg's ability during my sciatica - but I withheld uploading it to concentrate on my Boely series. Another one I haven't played in a few years - it took a while to get back in the rhythm and make a decent performance of it. ( I once played this on an organ where the only pedalstop was a slow speaking 16 foot - I mean real slow speaking. It had to be played so slow...!!!!)

The repeat is cut out - it gave the best chance of me finishing it with the pain!

The registration is Basson-Hautbois, Viole de Gambe and Voix Celeste of the Recit in the right hand against the Cromorne of the Positiv in the left hand.

Hope you enjoy.
John
