Wilhelm Rudnick was born 1850 in Damerkow, Eastern Pomerania.
From 1868 to 1871 he studied to become a teacher. 1873 he took up studies in church music in Berlin and became organist in Berlin, at Landsberg a.d. Warthe (today Poland), and Liegnitz. Rudnick died in 1927.
