Description:
The Savior is Waiting (1958)
by Ralph Carmichael (1927-present)
He is a composer of both secular pop, and contemporary Christian music. Carmichael wrote arrangements for many top performers, including Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Bing Crosby, Stan Kenton, Jack Jones, Peggy Lee, Julie London, Al Martino and Roger Williams.

Arranged by: Paul Mickelson (1927-2001) Noted arranger, conductor, pianist and organist. Paul was organist for the Billy Graham Crusades from 1950-1957. A collection of his music which includes this arrangement seems to be available in limited numbers on Amazon (Paul Mickelson Organ Solos)

I've loved Paul Mickelson's arrangements and his recording of them using several theatre pipe organs, including the large Robert Morton formerly in Lorin Whitney Studio in Glendale , California.

As always, a bit of my own style and ideas end up in the finished recording. Paul loved making use of the Chrysoglott, and so you hear it, and the vibra-harp throughout this arrangement.
