David Schack (b. 1947) was educated at Valparaiso University and Indiana University and has served on the faculty of Concordia College. He studied organ with August Stellhorn, Philip Gehring, and Oswald Ragatz. His organ and choral music has been published by several publishers, and his liturgical works appear in three major Lutheran hymnals.
