Description: | Back in December 2011 I uploaded this work using the Salisbury sample set. It was one of my first uploads to the Concert Hall.

Seven years on, and I've recorded it again, purely for testing purposes. I've recently had a range of issues with my Hauptwerk console, and by way of gradually sorting them out I've done a few test recordings. This one is worth uploading, by way of comparison with the older version.
The organ used this time (Arlesheim) is better suited to this musical style, and I've paid more attention to detail, especially with phrasing and tied notes. There's also more detaching in general for clarity. MIDI file attached.
It's good to be able to look back over one's previous recorded efforts. I'm only a relatively minor contributor here in terms of quantity - less than 150 uploads over 7 years. Still, it's fun! |
