Composer: Sorge, Georg Andreas
Sample Producer: Voxus Virtual Organs
Sample Set: Van Dam - Tholen
Software: Hauptwerk IV
Genre: Baroque
Description:
Sorge's prelude to "Erstanden ist der heilig Christ is not as exuberant as his prelude to "Heut triumphiret Gottes Sohn" I uploaded two days ago. One could call it even strange that a prelude with this title is written in a minor. Yet the tripple meter and the subtle three part writing make that it is not a sad piece at all.

In the comments with an earlier upload of a Sorge choral prelude ( http://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/33147 ) forum member Adri suggested that the accompaniment, where it is in three part, could be played on two parts as well.

So here's Sorge on two manuals.

So, the question is: which version works better? This one, or the one on three manuals (Haarlem, http://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/33205)?
