This is an improvised arrangement of Chopins' Nocturne op.48 no.1, a very special, huge dramatic piece, full of suffering and sorrow.
The last part of the piece (technically very difficult to play) is the returning of the beginning in an extremely restless way. It gives the feeling of leading to death.
The last chords seem to be taking someones last breath...
Although I improvised the «translation» to the organ, and nothing was written down to do so, it does not mean that I didn’t prepare it.
It took weeks of practicing the original piece on the piano first, and then just time and time thinking on how to get it in a symphonic character and all changes that were needed for playing it on the organ.
So, the last short stage of indeed playing and recording it on the organ was the result of everything before.
