The "Fantaisie triomphale" for organ and orchestra (strings, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, 3 trombones, tuba, timpani) was composed expressly for the inauguration of the Chicago Auditorium and performed for the first time at December 9th 1889.
