Henri Nibelle (1883 – 1967) studied in Paris at the École Niedermeyer and at the Conservatory with Guilmant, Vierne, Gigout und Fauré. He started as choir organist at the cathedral of Versailles, later he became organist at Saint-Vincent-de-Paul in Paris. From 1912 to 1931, he was organist at Saint-Francois-de-Sales, then until 1959 director of music.
