Roger Nyquist (1934–2020) — Adagio (1965) for organ
Roger Nyquist (1934–2020) was born in Rockford, Illinois and was educated at Augustana College (BM), Syracuse University (MM), and Indiana University (DMA). His principal teachers were Arthur Poister, Catharine Crozier, and André Marchal. Nyquist served on the faculty of Southwestern College; the University of California, Santa Barbara; and was professor of music and university organist at Santa Clara University. In addition to active recital career, Nyquist recorded more than 30 albums.
