This is the first of Charles Tournemire's five improvisations reconstructed by Maurice Duruflé.
It is such a joy to play with it's beautiful sentiment and some technique requirements to make it somewhat a challenge. For my part, I haven't heard others' interpretations so for better or worse this is just my own from what I hear in the music. For me, it's just a great way to turn down a great day with beautiful music from another French master.
I think the Laurenskerk sampleset -- as it so often seems to be able -- provides a really nice instrument and space for Tournemire's music. I hope to upload his other improvisations at the soonest-
I hope this piece is enjoyed and with the others I've posted definitely recommend acquiring the score, which is easy to get and very inexpensive
