Description:
I have chosen a slightly unusual registration: The pedal introduction sounds better suited (to my ears) as an 8' Oktave, as well as in the recapitulation.

This works demonstrates free usage of the swell boxes and crescendo pedal (programmed for this particular performance), especially in the latter part of the quasi-fugal section, leading directly into the chordal climax of the piece.
