This gospel hymn was written in 1912 by George Bennard (1873-1958), who was a Methodist Evangelist and Song-Leader while he was serving in Michigan. This arrangement is based on one by Paul Mickelson (1928-2001), noted conductor and former organist for the Billy Graham Crusades (1950-1957). Paul recorded several albums of gospel hymns at the Lorin Whitney Studio, on the Robert Morton Theatre Pipe Organ.
