Heinz Werner Zimmermann uses the technique of "instrumental recitation" – each syllable of the psalm corresponds to a single note of the melody line, the rhythm
of the words determines the rhythm of the melody.
Thus, the Organ Psalms are tightly connected to the German language. The sequence of the pictures in the youtube video tries to display that.
