Balletto del granduca

I wanted to create the impression that this was be played by brass instruments, so I used ONLY THE REED STOPS in this performance. In order to get them to speak evenly, I took a slightly slower tempo, and added less ornaments then one might add with lighter, quicker-speaking stops.

The organ at Stade has wonderful reeds, and I used all of them in various combinations. All of the reeds are independent, although they may appear to have the same names! ;-)
