From the composer: "Verset IV is subtitled "Musette pour le grand jeu" and was written for the blazingly brilliant sound of the 1775 Isnard organ of the Basilique Sainte-Marie-Madeleine, St. Maximin, Provence, France. Though musette movements appear often in French harpsichord and ensemble music, they seem rarer in the work of French classic organ composers. It is dedicated to Barbara Owen."
