From the composer: "Verset VII was written for the 1699 A. Starck organ of the monastery church of Zlata Koruna, Czech Republic. A tranquil accompaniment in the Lydian mode (moving down by a third each time) accompanies a free melody. It is dedicated to the organ builder Vladimir Slajch."
