This work, five chorals on the Magnificat antiphon of the feast of the Blessed Sacrament was written "in humble and fervent homage to our Master Johann-Sebastian Bach"
Each choral treats a different section of the antiphon, and although the harmonic language is a bit more advanced, Bach certainly would recognize the spirit. (and really, these are some of the least "modern" of Falcinelli's works. This is a MIDI test run to see if I wanted to learn the piece..
