There are several nice recordings of this movement from the 'Suite Gothique' on this concert hall. This is an "interpretation" or it could be called an "arrangement" possibly.
I've taken all kinds of liberty, ultra romantic.... with tremulants, solo stops, and changed the ending, just a bit. I even changed the rhythm in one spot (where I hadn't intended).
I was at a master class with Marie-Claire Alain, several years ago, and the question of "how a certain French organ work should be played" came up, and her answer was basically.... "As you wish." Well I've taken that to heart.
