Description: | My first post (please be gentle), showing that I am truly a HW newbie. This arrangement comes from Nancy & Randall Faber's Adult Piano Adventures, Book 2 (posted with permission). I have been told by many organists (and folks on the HW forum) to 1) learn keyboard basics, 2) learn the 2-part inventions, and then 3) start with Davis or Gleason. So here I am, soon to "graduate" to 2-part inventions. BUT, since I do have two keyboards (no pedals yet) and good-ol' SAM, I thought I'd give some stop-changing a try, while going through the Faber. My favorite so far is this upload of Swan Lake, which actually has 2-1/2 runs of the piece before coda, vs. the book's 1-1/2 run.
Anyway, this shows that even a true first-level novice to keyboard music can have fun with HW while learning. |
