Sample Set: Velesovo
Software: Hauptwerk IV

Description:
My "final version" of the C major P/F, BWV 846. I ended up with the Velesovo, which has this wonderful and innocent tone for this music.

Meanwhile, I have also started up a little journey to connect visual images with the WTC. Please see the "color" version and some additional stuff at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yp6vWq9eM8w.

Generally, you are very much invited to take a look at my website, where I tried to explain some of my views on the WTC1. The C maj is already covered, you can find the relevant sections at http://bachwelltemperedclavier.org/pf-c-major.html.

One of the things which are amazing: The variability of interpretations of this P/F. Interesting that Barenboim's C major prelude is almost double speed to Tureck. Further, the relationship of the prelude to the fugue shows material differences: Gould and Stadtfeld play 1:1, Gulda (almost) 2:1. Clearly, there is no real "right" and "wrong".
