Enrico Pasini (b. 1935) is an Italian composer based in Caligari, Sardinia. He has been active in numerous church positions and as professor of organ at the Conservatory of Music “Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina” of Caligari. Pasini’s music is lyrical and traditional in its conception, and he has become particularly noted for the more than 70 pieces in his “cantabile” series of compositions. He describes these pieces as follows: “Cantabiles are music with an expressive melody. The harmonic accompaniment is delicate, with soft colors.”
