Nancy Hill Cobb (b. 1951) — Contemplation on “Davis” (1982) for organ
Nancy Hill Cobb (b. 1951) is Director of the School of Music at Indiana State University. She has been active as an administrator, composer, and choral conductor. Cobb’s catalog includes many works for chorus published by Hinshaw, Santa Barbara, Alliance, Gentry, Bourne, and Leawood. She was the founding director of the Bower School of Music at Florida Gulf Coast University and was educated at Oklahoma Baptist University, Michigan State University, and the University of Oklahoma. Cobb also completed post-doctoral studies in choral conducting at the Eastman School of Music.
