Composer: Buxtehude, Dieterich
Sample Producer: Milan Digital Audio
Sample Set: Salisbury Cathedral Father Willis
Software: Hauptwerk IV
Genre: Baroque
Description:
Yes, this is a little dejas vu. AMLaMort posted this same piece just a few short days ago here:

http://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/9744

I expressed my appreciation and thanks for AM's interpretation and added words with regard to my own; which quickly became an assigment from pointyflute and AM for me to back up the words with my own demonstration!

Here is what I said, which got me the weekend homework assignment "I, too, appreciate your interpretation of this piece, particularly because it differs from mine. I have taken to playing this in a more foreboding manner, with the slow burn build, mostly for Lent. Thanks for opening my mind to another way to hear it..."

So here is mine. I tried to stay true to my interpretation - luckily I just played it in church service 3/3/13, so not too rusty yet.

The articulation won't be as nice and clean as AM's, and you may also notice that I subscribe to the theory that if Bux had this organ at his disposal.., he would have used ALL of it, too.

** end of disclaimers ***

Enjoy the variety!
