N.B. It's times like this I might be happy to trade in everything I've ever composed for the ability to write one good pop song that really reaches people. Or if not that, a romantic piano piece that manages to transcend 'art music'. I know my offerings are not for everyone. Not for most people probably. My vision of the world and my music tend to be dark and discordant, but I suppose we all bring what we have.
