The second in the series of organ concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach is a transcription of Antonio Vivaldi's RV 522 (op. 3 #8) for two violins, strings and continuo, from his concerto collection "L' Estro Armonico". Vivaldi's composing style is apparent in the harmonies and development of the material, but so are Bach's own stylistic elements in the arrangement.
You hear the first movement, apparently an Allegro, in A minor, on the extended virtual organ of Hereford Cathedral. Original organ intonation and temperament were maintained, but extra reverberation (model: "York Minster") was added. (Please do forgive a couple of mistakes and two partly unresponsive pedals; I'm sure that their negative effect upon the enjoyment of the piece is negligible.)
I shall provide the registration in the comment section.
Any advice and constructive criticism is welcome. Happy listening. :)
