The Annaberg Walcker-Eule organ is a real jewel and the digital translation a great sampleset.
There are already lots of uploads by Andres Mattes, Markus Weyand and some others on the site, so people may already have formed an opinion on the quality of the set. They played all kind of mainly larger pieces.
I intend to upload parts of Reger's opus 135a, which almost everybody will have played sometime, in bunches of two and three.
Perhaps it is nice to hear this great instrument bringing pieces we all know to life with sounds from the true German tradition.
Moreover the small preludes, written late in life a few years before his death, belong to Reger's finest compositions.
I played them in Holland many times, but mostly on instruments they were not written for. Finally a chance to do it right, though discovering the Walcker instrument is yet early stages!
I hope you'll enjoy the second three!
NB: Aus tiefer Not was boosted by 3Db, as otherwise it would have been hardly audible between the other two.
