Thanks David! For all the wonderful playing, lessons, and "liner notes". A fitting close to your project, and especially for me, baptized at Easter Vigil 13 years ago.

This will leave all but the most hardened listeners with moist eyes ... your registration and tempo draw out the deep sadness of the day. Thanks, David.

THANKS, Trent!

It's amazing how "tired" I felt after playing these 2 minutes...

David, this is an incredibly moving piece and performance. Thank you!

I would like to add to the others and thank you for leading this project. We have heard an incredible amount of amazing music that I never knew existed. I hope we have more of these kinds of things in the future. I know that between the Christmas and the Lenten projects I have learned so much from everyone.

God bless on this Easter day!

As I hear this and read the text, the image that comes to mind is the very close of Good Friday service. The church is dark, altar bare. Just before people begin to leave in silence one voice is heard at the back of the nave, a cappella, bringing the service to a close. Very stunning. Thanks, my friend.

Thanks, David, for this hymn and organizing the lenten hymn project.
Your uploads were always an inspiration by listening to them and instructive.
You taught by example through your excellent playing. I'm grateful.
We learned a lot. Thanks a million for that too.

There were a good number of people joining in.
I'm glad it was a big success.
The project created a kind of community spirit on the concert hall, at least that was the way I felt it.

Thanks again and if you have another nice brainwave just organize away!

Simply gorgeous playing and registration Dave.
A fitting conclusion to the passiontide!
A joyous Easter to you and Gale!
I look forward to your Easter offering:-)
I read through this Hymn on the Yamaha keyboard in my computer room before posting. My attempt brought a new meaning to "O Trauergkeit" :-(
