Op. 129 is a treasure trove for anyone who is not particularly fond of Max Reger's music, which can sometimes sound rather "fragmented". A sensitive interpretation and very pleasant sound. Do I hear a quintadena in the mix here?

Thanks Peter, I don't remember. I just mixed up a nice sound from the Steinmeyer palette.

Beautiful interpretation, dear Andrew! Your performance of the Intermezzo really moved me—the timbres are fantastic, and the musical mood conveys so much feeling and character. Thank you for sharing!

Intermezzos often function as palate cleansers between courses. This one though is very much it's own main dish. Nicely done.

Thanks David, the other pieces in Op 129 are main dishes too.

Well controlled and smooth playing of this piece of great warmth and expression. Reger can be a bit harsh on the ears, but I’m glad he wrote some more conservative music as well! Thank you for introducing it to us!

All the pieces in Op 129 are fairly restrained and easy to listen to.
