Best Symphonic Sample Set
Hi, sorry for posting again. I'm looking for a sample set for hauptwerk on the cheaper side, yet nice and large. Any good ones out there?

RE: Best Symphonic Sample SetI dont have it, but Billerbeck looks like a versatile symphonic organ. The cheapest one is Friesach :) |

RE: Best Symphonic Sample SetHi there. There are a few that you can get outside of HW. Garritan Pipe Organs. Is mixture of baroque to modern symphonic hall and you can mix pipes from different organs etc.... £60 when i bought it. SoundIron have a few cheap options such as Alpha Organ and Park (i think thats what it is called). Now i got these recently in the lockdown sales for £35 a pair. I did have some points that i could use against them. But they were reduced.. Now Garritan and soundiron use SFZ files which work with the free plogue sfz player. I dont know if you can upload sfz files into HW. Soundiron are also NKI AND NKS compatible with Native Instruments. Alpha works with the free version no problems. Park doesnt and requires the latest version of Native full version player which at last was £480 squids. Then there are the free versions. If you go to https://piotrgrabowski.pl/azzio/ He has quite a few free organs there that work with HW. He has also moved into selling his dispositions as well. On average €99. Hope this helps. |

RE: Best Symphonic Sample SetFredM wrote: Be aware that Omer requires HW5: The samples are offered in 48kHz/24bit resolution. The multiple releases have three levels: short, mid and long. Hauptwerk v.5 or higher required. The sample set is encrypted and dongle protected, which means that it can be used with Hauptwerk software exclusively. Hauptwerk Advanced version is strongly recommended, the Lite version is not suitable to run the Surround variant of the sample set (memory limitations, audio channels limitations). There is no use of the sample set possible in any other software. good remark !!I did'nt see that before because I have HW5 and moreover I use CAEN and not St Omer (more expensive but better in my opinion) |
