Selling complete organ - OK/legal to do, with Hauptwerk and sample sets?Hi - I was about to post an updated listing of an organ that I plan to sell (USA), and wondered if there are any restrictions on selling an organ that includes Hauptwerk software and also some sample sets, plus the iLok that contains the licenses for this software? RE: Selling complete organ - OK/legal to do, with Hauptwerk and sample sets?I'm not sure what the current rules are with the new HW version and iLok connection but in the past certain sample sets have been sold and transfered to new owners. In the past it also involved the sample producer to give the OK and charge a transfer fee. I would welcome a comment from Hauptwerk making the situation clear. |

RE: Selling complete organ - OK/legal to do, with Hauptwerk and sample sets?I bought around one year an half ago the complete HW installation (organ + computer + samples + dongle) from the family of a man who died in a car accident. There were some samples installed, or not, on the internal HardDisk, some of them needing a dongle, others not. I really don't ask me the question if there was any problem. The system always works perfectly under HW 4.2. and I consider that samples are mine. |
