Robert Prizeman Organist Obituary

Just found out that the organist Robert Prizeman died on the 8th September 2021.

I remember him from the RSCM courses that I used to attend at Easter locally because he was the in house organist.

He is more known for the theme tune to Songs of Praise in the UK a Toccata like piece that originally was played on a pipe organ for many years.

He was also the founder and choirmaster of the boy choir Libera.

Erzahler thank you for this info and links. I didn’t realise that the piece was that long. I like this version but hate the current iteration that they currently use.
